The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest maintains this portal to enable public access to certain data sets, which should be available for everyone, according to the Open Data concept.
The purpose of the Open Data Portal platform is to enable institutions in Romania to present the open data information in real time and in a centralized manner.
To fulfil this purpose, in case the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest is informed in certain errors, the Institute will attempt to correct them. However, the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest does not take any form of responsibility for the information presented on this portal.
The National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics – ICI Bucharest, its employees or employees of the public authorities, which adhered to the Open Data Portal, will not be liable before you, for any direct, indirect, incidental or subsequent damages, resulting from or which may result from:
- any type of property damage of any sort, resulting from your access to the portal or you using the data provided by our service
- any interruption or cessation of the transmission from or towards our portal and/or our servers or our partners’ servers
- any errors, viruses, Trojans or others as such, which can be transmitted to or through our portal and/or the Internet connection, used for the service, by a third party.
- damages of any sort, occurred as a result of using any content posted, transmitted and processed or provided on this site, in any other manner.
The principle of open data enables access to data, promotes transparency and encourages the reuse of data, by using the potential of these data.
The Open Data portal allows aligning the level of transparency and responsibility of the public institutions in Romania, with the European Union practices.
